Melbourne City

Rialto Building Discover a vibrant metropolis full of style and sophistication that you can expect from any other major cities found throughout the world.

A walk through the city is a walk through time and a look into the future. Standing before you are the finest examples of Victorian architecture such as Flinders Street Station, the Melbourne Town Hall on the corner of Collins & Swanston Street and the Old Treasury Building in Treasury Place, with Art Deco masterpieces like the stunning ANZ Gothic Bank Collins Street and Manchester Unity Building on Swanston Street all standing alongside the huge office towers.

Futuristically, new developments such Federation Square and the Docklands down along the Yarra are fine examples of Melbourne being on the move.

Getting Orientated

Across the road is the Royal Botanic Gardens with its vast collection of Australian native flora & fauna. Bordering South Yarra and fringes of the city centre, the gardens have a vast collection of exotic and Australian native plants set in a magnificent 19th-century landscape.
